The battle between Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 17 and FIFA 17 is about to start. At Gamescom 2016, Developers Konami and EA released a brand new trailer for the upcoming football simulation games. This year's edition of PES and FIFA are expected to boast new game engine, improved graphics and realistic gameplay controls.

Windows Central reported FIFA 17 is powered by Frostbite game engine, which significantly improves the game's graphics and other visual elements. The game engine is the reason behind the game's smoother animation, both in general gameplay and celebration scenes. FIFA 17 is also more fluid and polished than its previous versions.

Furthermore, there are revamped controls in FIFA 17. For example, executing tricks like a neat little backheel is so much easier. Also, during corners, players will have more control over where the ball will land. There's a yellow cursor so that they can decide where their corner goes.

In the recently released teaser, the Olympic Stadium looks awesome. It has an energetic crowd that roars in every goal. Plus, the managers in FIFA 17 appear to be more lifelike than the real thing. The trailer features jacketless Jose Mourinho, which seems to be in disgust, throwing his arms in the air.

According to Forbes, FIFA 17 is set to be one of the best versions of FIFA in recent memory. The game will hit gaming stores on September 27 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Meanwhile, a new list of playable teams in PES 2017 is out now. Expect to see FC Barcelona, Club Atlético de Madrid, Arsenal FC, CA Boca Juniors, CA River Plate, SC Corinthians Paulista and CR Flamengo. Also, national teams of Germany and France are included in the game.

With a deal between Liverpool FC and PES 2017 in place, players should expect a faithful recreation of Anfield and authentic kits.

In terms of gameplay, the A.I players in PES 2017 are much more intelligent. They are now tougher on defense and can make more interceptions. There's also a new feature called "Control Reality" which supposedly adds realistic new control elements in the game.

A report from Attack of the Fanboy says there are two release dates for PES 2017. In North America, the demo will be released on August 23, 2016. In all European regions, the demo will be available on August 24, 2016.
