Every once in a while, there are rumors that appear on the Internet that a certain celebrity has passed away.  This week, it was Sylvester Stallone, and this is how the rumors of the actor's death began.  Not only is he still alive, but he is kicking around a lot of new projects.

According to Hollywood Life, the very exaggerated rumors of the death of Sylvester Stallone allegedly came from CNN, and somehow made its rounds on Facebook on September 3.  There were even images of "breaking news" of the 70-year-old Oscar-nominated actor being wheeled away on a gurney in a body bag.

This is one of those times where the Internet runs with the truth so well that it actually runs away with the truth.  Miley Cyrus and Angelina Jolie have been victims of this particular death rumor that spreads itself a little too well on social media sites like Facebook.  Others that have been caught in this rumor mill include Sir Paul McCartney and Michael Schumacher

The Daily Mail revealed that the actor was alive and well, going for a stroll in Beverly Hills with his friends on Saturday.  He still has his physique that he was well-known for in his Rocky and Rambo films, and everything else that he has played in the past 50 years.

Not only is Stallone alive and well, he has a lot of projects under his belt.  He almost won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his reprise of his famous Rocky Balboa role for Creed, and that would have been quite a crowning achievement.

The actor has a lot of projects going on.  His imdb page include Scarpa, a biopic of Gregory Scarpa, a former cap and enforcer for the Colombo crime family.  This film was just announced, has no release date, and only has Stallone as the title role on the cast list.  The same information is provided for Omerta, a TV movie where he plays another crime figure in the role of Raymonde Aprile.

He will be appearing in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but he doesn't have a name attached to his character name.  Is it possible that he is going to play Star-Lord's father?  Considering the mystery that was established in the first film, it would make sense why they are keeping this a secret.  It was rumored to be Kurt Russell, but he will apparently be Ego, the living planet.

Yes, Stallone has quite a career with very roles, and he has done voiceover work before with films like Antz and Zookeeper.  He will also appear in a 2017 film known as Animal Crackers, where he plays a character named Bullet-Man.

So, is another Expendables movie in the cards for the actor?  We will see, and fans don't want to see any reports of his death for a long time.
