Google Pixel is now available in Verizon retail stores, Best Buy and Google Stores. Previous rumors said the phone only works on Verizon, but it is not true. Both models of Google Pixel also work on AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint. Now, here's how to get an unlocked version of hot-selling 128GB Google Pixel XL.

Google Pixel comes in two versions: the stand Pixel and the hefty Pixel XL. Buyers also have two storage options: 32GB model and 128GB model. Interestingly, just hours before the Pixel becomes available, Jeffrey Nelson of Verizon said the 128GB Pixel XL is now sold out.

For those who want to have an unlocked version of Google Pixel, just visit Google's website. The cheapest option is the Pixel with 32GB of storage which costs $649. For installment, Google offers 24-month plan with $24.04 monthly payment. And for limited time, buyers can get free $79 Daydream View VR headset.

In BestBuy, buyers can get a $100 Best Buy Gift Card and Google Chromecast with a purchase and activation of Pixel on Verizon.

For Verizon subscribers, the network provider offers $300 trade-in credit for following smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, LG V10, LG G4, or HTC M9. It also offers installment option with $24.08 monthly payment for 24 months.

As we mentioned earlier, the top-spec 128GB Pixel XL is already sold out and will not be available on Verizon's store. In the carrier's website, it says the shipping for the XL model has slipped back to Nov. 18. So, those who did not pre-order the Pixel XL will have to wait for 3-4 weeks to get their own model.

The 128GB Pixel XL is priced at $849.

While the 5.5-inch XL is still unavailable, buyers can choose the low-end Google Pixel with 32GB of storage. Remember the 5-inch regular Pixel has the same powerful specs as the larger model. The difference is that the XL has clearer 1080p display screen and long-lasting battery.

Both models of Pixel has impressive camera. The Verge says the phone's camera is even better than the iPhone 7. Its 12-megapixel front camera is touted as the best camera in any phone. It has state-of-the-art features like white balance control and exposure compensation. In addition, Pixel's camera has greater sharpness, more pleasing colors and better low-light results.
