According to a report from Telecompaper, the body of R9s is composed of solid 98.9 percent metal with a screen-to-body ratio of 72.9 percent. In addition, it sports a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with 1080x1920-pixel resolution.
Inside, Oppo's new smartphone is fueled by Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor clocked at 1.95 GHz. The phone is also equipped with 6GB of RAM to handle multiple tasks. Users can store plenty of music and images on the R9's 64GB of onboard storage that can be upgraded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In this age of selfies, it is important for a smartphone to have a clear and high-quality camera. Good thing, buyers of Oppo R9s will not be disappointed. The handset offers two 16-megapixel shooters from Sony.
According to photography experts the 16-MP sensors of R9s will help users to capture clear images and better-looking selfies.
