Harvest Ministries will partner with KTLA-TV (Channel 5) Los Angeles to launch a new weekly television program this Sunday, Sept. 5. “Harvest: Greg Laurie,” a 30-minute program featuring a talk from Southern California pastor and evangelist Greg Laurie, will “provide straightforward biblical answers to some of life’s tough questions.”

“While Laurie makes liberal use of modern methods in presenting the Gospel, his ministry is built on a solidly conservative foundation…Presenting a basic Christian message, he will try to help young and old look down their own roads and decide whether to let Jesus steer their journeys of life,” wrote Riverside, Calif.-based Press-Enterprise.

With a trademark ability to present a straightforward Gospel message in a culturally relevant format that appeals both to the young and the young-at-heart, Greg Laurie has translated this message to a variety of audiences over the past 30 years. Laurie serves as senior pastor of the 15,000-member Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, and as founder of Harvest Crusades, evangelistic events that have drawn more than 3 million to stadiums and arenas in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand since 1990.

Harvest: Greg Laurie, which features “man on the street” interviews directed at issues raised in each message, will also include “eye-catching graphics” and scrolling banners providing a steady stream of message information in the fashion of a cable news channel.
