Oct 19, 2004 05:45 PM EDT

This year, Jesus Youth of America will host its first national conference between Dec. 26 and 29 at the Archdiocesan youth Retreat Center in Kearny, NJ.

During the four-day conference, youngsters will have the opportunity to focus on the importance of youth leadership. The conference is expected to significantly promote an exciting atmosphere for young workers who seek spiritual guidance from the Lord.

Workshops, musical performances and faith-based counseling sessions at this event will revitalize faithful attitudes toward God among youngsters. Most importantly, attendants will substantially learn how to serve while working and strengthening deep faiths in Jesus Christ.

A wide range of youth ministry speakers will deliver speeches focusing on youth leadership.

Jesus Youth is an international Catholic youth movement with a charismatic spirituality. The strength of the movement is its special focus on a Jesus-centered life, starting with God experience, growing through prayer, Word of God, sacraments and fellowship, and bearing fruit in a life style of sharing the Good News of Jesus with others.

Jesus Youth has grown over the years as a grass-root initiative by ordinary youth, with the active support and encouragement of bishops, priests, religious and senior lay-leaders in different places.

Conference attendants are expected to pay registration fee which covers meals and materials for the workshops.
