A recent leak from Coro Coro Comic magazine's February 2015 issue confirms what many anime fans have already been speculating: the new Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire movie will feature Hoopa in an important role throughout the film scheduled for release in Japan on July 18, 2015.

The new magazine edition will hit newsstands on Thursday and will also confirm the official name of the movie to be Ring no Chōmajin Hoopa (The Ring Genie Hoopa). This marks the first time that Nintendo has officially unveiled the donut-loving Hoopa, adding that the Pokemon will be in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games, but not in normal play-through.

The magazine goes into more detail on what we can expect from Hoopa, as reported by Anime News Network, including a special power hidden in its rings that can utilize both Psychic and Ghost moves. Hoopa's Unbound form has also been confirmed by sleuths poking around in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games. Plus, they've also allegedly found a special event that can be triggered to add Hoopa to your party.

The movie's teaser features Primal Groudon, Primal Kyogre, and Mega Rayquaza that were first introduced in the Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games, as well as an apparent portal that many fans believe is created by Hoopa's power.

Hoopa was first unveiled last year inside Pokemon X&Y as hackers found the pokemon along with Diancie and Volcanion, but it still wasn't officially confirmed by the game's developers. Diancie has already had a movie made about it, so now it looks like it's Hoopa's turn.

According to a report from Kotaku, "At the time, the assumption was that Hoopa had to have a mega evolution-and maybe this new sprite was that mega evolution. Now we know that it's actually a different form that Hoopa can take. We know this because, after Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire were released, players who had inserted the Hoopa into their games via Powersave found that Hoopa triggered a strange new event inside Pokémon marts, those locations where players can buy items."

Many players believe that dozens of the legendaries found in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are placed there by Hoopa, and that story is something we'll discover in the new Pokemon movie. Speculation centers on Hoopa having the ability to teleport and transport objects, including entire islands, which would explain the location of many mysterious legendaries in the new game.

The Coro Coro magazine also revealed that Japanese players will receive a level 70 Shiny Rayquaza with Dragon Pulse, Thunder, Twister, and Extreme Speed at the World Hobby Fair in Nagoya on January 18, Tokyo on January 24 and 25, Fukuoka on February 1, and Osaka on February 8.
