The 19 Kids and Counting family have been on the spotlight since the year 2015 started and it looks like the issue will not be going away anytime soon. Despite the rumors and scandals surrounding the brood of Jim Bob Duggar and wife Michelle Duggar, the 19 Kids and Counting stars appear to still be optimistic about their future. It could be recalled that the breakdown of the Duggar empire brought about a number of repercussions not only for Jim Bob Duggar, but also for Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick Dillard as well as Jessa Duggar Seewald and hubby Ben Seewald.

Months following the cancellation of the 19 Kids and Counting series, another sad news was announced to the fans and followers of the Duggar family. The younger brother of Josh Duggar, Josiah Duggar, admitted to parents Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar that his courtship with Marjorie Jackson had been terminated. According to Josiah Duggar, he and Marjorie Jackson believe that a romantic relationship may not be in the cards for the both of them. "Both Josiah and Marjorie have enjoyed getting to know each other and to build their friendship over the past months," disclosed both the Duggar family and the Jackson family in a statement then with People Magazine. The families went on to share, "We are so grateful that they each are seeking the Lord's will for their future. A few weeks ago Marjorie and Josiah agreed to end their courtship, keeping in step with what they believe the Lord's will is. Both are thankful for the time getting to know each other, and their families continue to enjoy each other's company and close friendship."

However, it appears that the romance between the 19 Kids and Counting star and Marjorie Jackson has not fully died yet. According to reports, Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson were spotted sitting next to each other during a wedding reception of a common friend of both families. While no official confirmation has been provided by either the Duggar family or the Jackson brood, it can be surmised that the romance might be back on as the 19 Kids and Counting children adhere to very strict rules when it comes to interacting with the opposite sex.

The downfall of the 19 Kids and Counting clan began when the teenage indiscretions of the eldest son of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar, Josh Duggar, were exposed via a leaked police report that detailed the underage sexual abuse. As a teen, Josh Duggar had been accused of inappropriately touching young girls - two of which are his sisters Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald. The exposure of such secret pushed TLC, the network that aired the TV show 19 Kids and Counting, to cancel the series and the advertisers to pull out their deals with the Duggar family. As of the most recent reports, the network will bring back the 19 Kids and Counting family on air but the show will only focus on the families of Jill Duggar Dillard and Jessa Duggar Seewald.
