The Baltimore Ravens have been dubbed as one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this regular season. With losses incurred by the football team left and right, it looks like fans and followers of the Baltimore Ravens ought to find a new squad to root for. At the moment, the Baltimore Ravens are at 1 - 5 following the NFL team's most recent loss against the San Francisco 49ers at 20 - 25.

"It's tough, it's agonizing, we feel like we're just running our heads into a brick wall," admitted Baltimore Ravens star Steve Smith, referring to the NFL team's inability to escape the slump they have been battling throughout the regular football season, according to ESPN. The wide receiver went on to add, "But nobody's going to save us. We can't make any excuses. Nobody cares, why, or what happened. All they want us to do, our fans, is fix it and win games. And that's what we have to do." The Baltimore Ravens earlier this week decided to promote Terrence Magee from the practice squad. The running back is now part of the 53-man roster of the NFL team. Magee had been signed as an undrafted agent by the Baltimore Ravens in May. To make room for the rookie, the Baltimore Ravens opted to release Charles James II.

Meanwhile, Charles James II had been sent back by the Baltimore Ravens to the Houston Texans following the injury of Lonnie Ballentine. In the particularly difficult game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Houston Texans safety had been seriously injured. The NFL match saw Ballentine going home with a torn medial collateral and posterior cruciate ligaments as well as a dislocated left knee. Prior to the injury of the Houston Texans safety during the match against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Ballentine had undergone an arthroscopic knee surgery. He also incurred a prior hamstring injury. With JJ Watts' teammate trapped in the injured reserve list at the moment, the Houston Texans have had an alarming number of injuries in its current roster. Hence, a reshuffling of its football stars had been in order. With this move, ex-Hard Knocks hero James had been the perfect man for the job.

Apart from the Houston Texans, the Baltimore Ravens are also having a very challenging NFL season this year. The Joe Flacco football squad earlier lost wide receivers Darren Waller to a concussion and Breshad Perriman to a knee injury. As for Chris Canty, the defensive end incurred a calf injury while safety Terrence Brooks damaged his thumb.
