Good news for Samsung Galaxy users! Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow beta is now available for selected Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge users. Once the latest OS rolls out in the United States, expect some eye-catching user interface and innovative features.

As of now, Android M 6.0.1 is available for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge owners in South Korea and the U.K. The latest update does not contain many enhancements, but it features more than 200 emojis and performance tweaks. In order to install the new OS beta update, just go to Settings> About device > Software update.  By installing the update, it enhances the overall stability of the OS.

Samsung Galaxy owners can also choose to install the update while they are sleeping. The "install overnight" feature helps users to download the update even though the phone is idle.

Tech experts said the beta test is important to what is wrong with Android 6.0 on the Samsung Galaxy devices.

According to Pocket-Lint, Android 6.0 update is set to land on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge+ -- the latest gadgets from South-Korean Tech Company.  Older Samsung devices--Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge-- will also have the latest OS next month.

The second phase of the update includes Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy A5, Samsung Galaxy A3, Samsung Galaxy E7 and Samsung Galaxy E5.

Take note that when the OS update arrives, it could be hindered by mobile carriers such as AT&T, Sprint, US Cellular, Verizon, or T-Mobile. The release date of Android M on these American subscription services vary from each other.

Android 6.0.1 update brings checkbox alongside each sub-menu panels for a smoother user interface. The Tasks panel is also more customizable than before.

Furthermore, Samsung has deliberately reduced the page scrolling speed in Android M. This move helps the processor of the device to have more time to compute and show the remaining elements of the page. It also helps in eliminating problems such as lags and stutters while scrolling a page.
