Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Release Date For HTC One M9, M8, Desire 530, Desire 630, Desire 825 On Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular

HTC's new Desire-range smartphones unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and these new gadgets have Android Marshmallow (Android M) right out of the box. Now, HTC fans are asking when they would receive their Android M update.

Here's the latest round-up of news about Android Marshmallow update on HTC One M9, M8, Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825.

Last week, HTC officials announced that One M9 users under the T-Mobile and Verizon networks are set to receive Android M upgrade. However, One M9 users under AT&T will have to wait a little longer as the mobile carrier reportedly encountered some technical issues, as per reports from Tech Times. 

Additionally, HTC's product manager Leon Rosenzwaig announced via Twitter that the unlocked version of HTC A9 in Canada will receive the latest version of Android M.

For One M9 owners from other parts of the world, expect the update very soon. Canadian telecommunications companies Sasktel, Rogers, Videotron and Wind Mobile said they have started Android M roll out to their subscribers. Also, HTC One M8 & M9 TELUS users got the Android M update.

Because of these latest developments, many HTC followers believe that the Android M update will land on other HTC gadgets in the next couple of days.

Here are the other smartphones from HTC that are scheduled to receive the upgrade: HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820, HTC Desire 816, HTC One M9+, HTC One M8+, HTC Butterfly 3,  HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820, HTC One E8, HTC One ME , HTC One M8 EYE and  HTC One E9.

It is also recommended that HTC phone users to check their devices if it is already available for update.

For tech enthusiasts who want to experience the cool features of Android M, HTC says their new Desire-range smartphones is available with Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. The HTC Desire 530, Desire 630, and Desire 825 smartphones are set to become available on retailers next month. The Taiwanese tech company launched the new Desire smartphones at Barcelona's Mobile World Congress.

Android Marshmallow is the latest operating system from Google. Majority of tech websites praised the system's innovative apps and improved security system. PC Advisor said the new firmware is packed with new features and performance tweaks that are very functional.
