Since Kevin Durant is expected to hit the free agency market, various teams are reportedly already expressing their interest in signing the Oklahoma City Thunder forward. According to reports, one of those teams is the San Antonio Spurs.

As noted by Fan Sided, getting Durant will enable the Spurs to form a new big-three group for the team. With Durant in the roster, the San Antonio franchise will be able to form a formidable forward lineup along with Kawhi Leonard and LaMarcus Aldridge.

But, before going into negotiations, one aspect that the Spurs should probably focus on is its cap space. Even though Manu Ginobili and Tim Duncan are both expected to retire this year, the team may not have enough salary space for Durant. This means the Spurs might have to let go of some of its rotational players or carry out salary cuts.

Despite these rumors, Durant has not yet made any statements regarding which team he would like to play in next season. But, there's a strong chance that he'll still stay with the Thunders especially since his team eliminated the Spurs in the playoffs.

As for other news about the athlete, Durant is currently being hailed as a hero in Oklahoma City for beating the red light. He, of course, did this out of necessity to help an ambulance getting away from a traffic jam.

According to the New York Post, the incident happened this weekend as Durant was sitting inside his Ferrari. While stuck in a traffic congestion, he saw an ambulance in the similar situation. He then pulled behind the ambulance with his car's hazard lights on to help clear the way for the emergency vehicle.

With the other cars giving way, the ambulance was able to navigate through traffic with Durant's Ferrari behind it.

"We were stuck in traffic, so pretty much cars surrounding us all over," Peter Radford, a paramedic on the ambulance told News 9. "All of a sudden, I see a silver Ferrari or a silver sports car pull in behind us."

"Once we actually get through traffic, this silver Ferrari comes over to the side and waves to my partner," he added. "And my partner goes, 'Do you have any idea who that is?' And of course I'm clueless. 'That's Kevin Durant.'"
