It has only been a little more than a month since Casting Crown’s self-titled debut project released at No.1 on Sept. 30 and now the success continues.

The band’s hit single, "If We Are The Body," has made No. 7 on the Billboard Hot Christian Adult Contemporary Chart and the Billboard Hot Christian Singles & Tracks Chart. According to Radio & Records radio charts, the single is the second most-added song on the Adult Contemporary charts, where it claimed No. 3, and Christian Hits Radio charst, landing No.5 this week.

Vice President of National Promotions Andrew Patton of Provident Label Group, remarked, "This is the first time I can remember working a song 14 weeks after it hit the station desk, that remains in the top two most-added slots at radio. The consistent response I've seen from stations is that 'If We Are The Body' is the biggest song they have on the air today. It's exciting to see a new artist finally break big this year at radio and retail."

"It's been wild to see this song gaining so much attention," commented lead singer Mark Hall who started out with his music for his Atlanta-based church. "I wrote this song years ago for my first youth group and honestly thought I was just writing it for that church at the time. Little did I know that I would use it at all my churches or that it would be a Top 10 song at Christian radio. We appreciate all that Christian Radio has done to help communicate an important message through its airwaves."

Although the Casting Crowns recently finished the "Let My Words Be Few" tour, headling Rebecca St. James, the buzz demanding their appearance has not ebbed.

Ron Cantrell, artist representative at Jeff Roberts, said, "I've been with Jeff Roberts for 15 years and worked with many new artists during this time and have never experienced anything like the buzz Casting Crowns has created around the country, especially within the churches. 'If We Are the Body' has really struck a cord with the church. We have been, and are continuing to be flooded with phone calls and emails from people desiring to bring Casting Crowns in for a concert. We're looking forward to the many great things God has planned for this wonderful band."
