Avalon Returns with THE CREED

Avalon, American Award winning group, returns with THE CREED, their first album since 2001 (Oxygen).

“We basically have 3 songs left- 2 with Tedd and 1 with Charlie. So we split our days between those producers. This week is really long hours just because we want to finish this week so we can have the rest of it off. Ha, ha, “says Melissa Greene, February 24, 2004.

THE CREED includes a new upbeat pop hit, "All," as well as soul-stirring ballads "You Were There" and the title track that proclaims, "I believe that God is my Father, and Jesus is living and breathing in me. Your spirit is with us giving hope and compassion. This is the creed; I will live it, I will believe."

Avalon will perform a live on-air concert from Nashville, which will be broadcasted to radio stations all around the country. A full schedule of more radio, media, and concert events is set to follow after that.

On February 27, Avalon begins a 40-city headlining spring tour (with guests Mark Schultz and Across The Sky) and will sign THE CREED at bookstores during several of the stops. And if you like to read, you can get Jody, Janna, Greg, and Melissa to sign their cover stories in Release (Feb/March) and CCM (April) magazines as well.

“The whole process has been really fun, stressful and tiring but our prayer is that this record will bring glory to God and touch people's lives. Then it is all worth it. I hope you like it!” Melissa says.
