Christian Hard-Rock’s newest sensation, Day Of Fire, is making some noise with its single “Cornerstone,” which secured this week’s No. 1 position on CRW’s Rock chart as well as moving up to No. 8 on the R&R CHR chart. The song is the first to be released from the band’s self-titled debut album, which released on October 26th to positive reviews:

“It’s refreshing to see this kind of youthful enthusiasm – bringing to mind the joy of our salvation, which can easily get choked out of a life filled with too many worldly worries. We need this kind of reminder. We need a day of fire – again and again.” HM magazine

“Place it prominently and make sure your frontliners know about it. It’s a winner.” CBA Marketplace

“(Day of Fire) features an explosive hard-core sound with a timely evangelistic message.” Christian Retailing

Production for the Day of Fire album assembled some of the biggest names in rock music today, produced and mixed by Scott Humphrey (Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Rob Zombie) and featuring Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction) on bass, drummer Gary Novak and guitarist Phil X, (Alanis Morissette, Avril Lavigne, Andrew W.K), along with Matthew Nelson (Nelson) on back-up vocals.

Day of Fire front man Joshua Brown, who was formerly part of mainstream hard rock group Full Devil Jacket, quit FDJ after surviving a heroin overdose and committing his life to God while in rehabilitation. For an in depth interview with Brown, go to:
