Founder of Single with Jesus Ministries, Crutchfeld Named Chaplain General

Houston – Robert A. Crutchfield, Founder/Director of Single with Jesus Ministries, has recently been appointed Chaplain-General of the Virtual Order of St. Isidore of Seville. The Order’s first ever. In so doing he becomes the Order’s third highest ranking member. In this position he will oversee the order’s network of volunteer chaplains and chaplain leaders serving several hundred members from about 20 countries. He will also serve as a member of the group’s Grand Magistry, its highest governing body.

Crutchfield was ordained to the Christian ministry in 1998 by St. Luke’s Evangelical Christian Ministries, and United Christian Ministries International. He founded Single with Jesus Ministries that same year. In May of this year the St. Luke’s organization conferred upon him the title of Bishop. He previously served the Virtual Order of St. Isidore of Seville as Texas State Chaplain, and Magisterial Delegate Province 2 (USA.) He also has been active in organizing several citywide prayer rallies here in Houston.

Crutchfield is a member of several related professional organizations. These include The International Chaplain’s Association, The American Association of Christian Counselors, and The True Grace Ministries Gospel Ministers Association.

The Virtual Order of St. Isidore of Seville is a primarily online group of Christians who seek to promote “Christian Chivalry through the medium of the internet,” among other goals.

Single with Jesus Ministries is an internet-based Christian ministry to single adults worldwide. Since the beginning of 2002 their online outreaches have made contact with 56+ countries.
