Bible League Ministry Hosts Open House

Robert W. Cole, Bible League’s new president, is hosting a community open house on Saturday, Jan. 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the agency’s international ministry center near Crete, Ill. He will be sharing his vision for the Bible League’s ministry during the open house sessions.

“I want to encourage people to join us, and I’d like to meet as many of our neighbors as possible,” said Mr. Cole, a native Australian. “This is an opportunity for our neighbors and partners to hear what God is doing through our ministry, and see this wonderful facility that God has provided.”

Before he was appointed as the president of the worldwide Scripture placement agency in July, Cole was national director of Bible League’s Australia office for nearly six years.

“Now that I’m here in Crete, it’s been very exciting,” Mr. Cole said. “I’m a newcomer, and I’ve become very aware of the way God is moving in this nation. Here I am, in a situation where news is coming in from all over the world about what God is doing, and it’s being related firsthand, from the ministry field, which is very exciting.”

Several Bible League’s ministry directors from Africa, Asia, and Latin American will give presentation on their mission fields and also guided tours of the new building will be offered along with buffet of foods.

Bible League is located at 3801 Eagle Nest Drive in Crete, near the intersection of Route 394 and Richton Road.
