Churches are preparing for Easter plays slated to showcase on Palm Sunday, April 4, 2004. Zac Fisher practices his role as one of the convicts who bears the cross for the Easter play at Missionary Baptist Church Easter in Monroe, Michigan, entitled, "The Resurrection and the Life”. Palm Sunday is the day Jesus is hailed as the Messianic King during his entry into Jerusalem by people waving palm leaves to welcome him. Good Friday, April 9, is the day Jesus is crucified on the cross and Easter is the day Jesus resurrected from the dead, which will be celebrated on April 11 this year.
