Promise Keepers announced Wednesday it will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary next year with a 2005 conference tour, called “The Awakening.”

The national men’s ministry will visit 20 cities, the most ambitious schedule since 1999, reports PK.

“Promise Keepers is calling men to full-alert living as sons of God,” said Dr. Tom Fortson, president and CEO of Promise Keepers, who also has his own reason to celebrate. This month, Fortson celebrates his first anniversary as president of the ministry.

“The 2005 program is designed to awaken men to the epic spiritual battle taking place between light and darkness, between good and evil. Men are struggling to reach their full potential and life’s purpose, and we want to help them fight for the hearts of their families as well. We also want to help men design a plan that will empower them to impact their world and fulfill their destiny.”

“We are especially excited about fathers and sons together making a weekend of the Promise Keepers experience,” added Dr. Fortson.
