The 11th Bible Recitation Festival Started In Hong Kong

This year's Bible reading competition gathered 4,800 children from almost 200 kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools all over Hong Kong.

Hong Kong - The 11th Bible Recitation Festival started on March 15. At 9:30am, opening ceremony started together in Kowlon City Baptist Church and Wing Kwong Pentecostal Holiness Church.

This year, 4,800 children from almost 200 kindergarten, primary school and middle school joined the competition, making the highest record of the number of participants.

Dr. Sou-sheung Chiu spoke in the ceremony representing Chinese Bible International Ltd., which is the organizer of the Bible Recitation Festival. She encouraged the students to not only read Bible, but put the Word of God into practise, build their life on the foundation of the Word, and spread the Gospel.
