In the last message of the year for the Stream of Praise music ministries, a well-known Canadian revivalist spoke to an audience of Chinese Christian leaders about having more faith.

The Canadian revivalist Rev. Charlie Robinson, who preaches with Fresh Fire Ministries, acted as a mediator tonight saying to the crowd of a thousand that God told him that "you need to receive his glory and healing tonight."

To the audience but directing it to God he said, "On this night Dec. 31 – the last day of the year – we choose to receive from you tonight; we choose to receive your love tonight; we choose to receive your peace; we choose to receive everything you want to give tonight."

He continued on with his sermon saying that it may not be that simple to receive God, describing the problems or challenges that we may have using two references of mountains in the Bible.

Jesus said, "…if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go throw yourself into the sea' and it will be done," Matthew 21:21 said.

Robinson said that the fig leaves from the tree that was mentioned in the verse symbolized the "efforts of man." In the passage prior to the verse, it said the fig tree withered away. Robinson added there are a lot of churches that don’t care about glorifying God.

The other reference is found in Mt 17:20. Jesus said to his disciples, "…if you have the faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move…."

In both cases, he said that people need faith in order to "cast the mountain," that represents our problems, difficulties, lack of faith, lack of ability, or lack of spiritual power "into the sea."

He continued on, "Christians live an impossible life, but with God all things are possible. God makes the impossible possible. There is a lot about God that we don’t know."

At the end of his message, he chose to speak on love saying that through the "true worship" at the SOP leadership conference, he was able to feel love.

He said, "There is this huge universe of love and God wants you to know that love. If you take the time to know the love of God, you will be filled with all the fullness of God."

He gave a testimony saying that he wanted to know God more, so one day he began to pray. Robinson believes that God told him to stop praying and start receiving.

"God said stop praying and be quiet. It's not that you loved me but I first loved you," Robinson said.
