Ambassador for Christ Co-Founder Rev. Moses C. Chow Passed Away

Rev. Moses C. Chow of San Ramon, CA went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 13, 2008.

Rev. Chow was the husband of Wendy Zee, with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage this past December 5th. He was born in 1925 in Shaoxing, Zhejiang, China.

In 1947 Rev. Chow began serving as Pastor of Ling Liang Church in Shanghai. Throughout his life, he served the Lord faithfully as an evangelist, missionary, and pastor in China, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong, and in the United States in Washington, DC; Dallas, TX; Pennsylvania; and New Jersey.

In 1963 Rev. Chow co-founded and from 1963-1988 served as President of Ambassadors for Christ, Inc. (AFC) which is headquartered in Paradise, PA. Ambassadors for Christ reaches intellectuals from China who are studying in the US and Europe for Christ through campus ministry, literature resources, and training and conferences.

In addition to his wife, Wendy, Rev. Chow is survived by his 5 children: Grace (Kun-Hua), David (Karen), Joyce (Patrick), Andrew (Monica), and John (Lorrie), 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A home-going memorial celebration will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 2 pm at Contra Costa Gospel Church in Walnut Creek, CA.
