The 2nd International Christian Entrepreneur General Meeting took place in the afternoon of September 30 in Houston, Texas. The U.S. Carnegie Corporation-trained China Marketing Director, Defang Huang, passionately shared her conclusions in spreading the Gospel in the business field - the nine Carnegie secrets in effective marketplace evangelism.

Huang, being a Carnegie-trained speaker, was lively and passionate during her sharing, which encouraged interactions among the audience. She used a prize-oriented question-and-answer format to encourage the audience to fully participate in the contents, and to remember and practice the ways of spreading the Gospel.

Huang first showed her testimony of God’s guidance in her life to the audience through a self-produced film. She explained the contents and praised God while the film was being viewed. In these 10 years, God has brought groups and groups of people to believe in Him through her, and many of these people are her classmates in training or colleagues, and to date, there have been a few hundred people who have decided to follow God under her guidance.

When speaking of the fruit that God gave her within these 10 years, Huang could not help but awe at the situation, saying: "The returns of this investment are very high."

Although Huang is not a professional missionary, she has been active in spreading the gospel ever since she became a Christian in 2002 at the age of 40. She has actively used more effective methods in spreading the gospel, and through faith, encouraging people to believe.

Her main strategy of spreading the Gospel is by organizing family Gospel gatherings, where Huang and her crew attract learners to accept the Gospel. Huang often invites her students to her home, and creates a cozy environment. She also invites an acquainted entrepreneur couple to share their story: how they had many visions and dreams when young, including professional success, and how they had become very proud, and how when profession failed, they were again found by God...following that, Huang and her crew will pray for those present at the gathering. Just like that, through teamwork, they have led many people to believe in God.

Apart from Gospel gatherings, sister Huang spreads the Gospel everyday and everywhere she goes. Huang got to know two women on a flight, where she prayed for them individually, and established contact with them. She believed that she could go one step further and help God gain their hearts once she had returned to her country.

Following this, Huang shared the difficulties in spreading the Gospel. Some members of the audience voiced that the closer you are to friends, the harder it is to speak of the Gospel to them; there were those who voiced that people in Houston are of high educational backgrounds, so when they touch on the topic of religion, the argument is often around unbelief due to the lack of scientific evidence.

Huang admitted that she was often scared to speak because of fear of rejection too, but many times she relied on pure and simple faith to speedily spread the Gospel. She then led the audience into the nine Carnegie secrets of speedily spreading the Gospel:

1. Do not judge, do not punish, do not complain.

2. Give sincere praise and gratitude to other.

3. Inspire others' heartfelt wishes.

4. Sincerely care for others.

5. Smile always.

6. Often address others by their names.

7. Listen and encourage others to talk about themselves.

8. Talk about things that interest others.

9. Sincerely let others feel important.

U.S. Capitalism Guru Andrew Carnegie was once impoverished. Under the influence of his devout Christian mother, he could ultimately face life's challenges with a positive attitude and strong sense of purpose, and in turn influenced an infinite number of people in the world as an inspirational speaker. Huang believes that the nine secrets that stem from the Capitalistic theory of Carnegie can be applied effectively and appropriately to spread the Gospel.

Huang and her crew have developed tools for evangelization, namely "The Four Laws of the Gospel" and "Fully-blessed-treasure blessing", to avoid the embarrassment faced by overly rigid evangelistic methods, and thus to make it easier for learners to accept the Gospel. Besides, through reading Philippians 4:6-7 out loud, the learners' hearts can be more effectively opened to accept God and His blessings.

As life reaches the age of 50, Huang holds much expectation and passion for the "wonderful" (sounds like "Huang Defang") second period of her life. She finalized with 1 Peter 2:9 to encourage the audience to remember their role as "a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession", and to not forget their calling to "declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light".
