Cowboys vs. Giants Week 12 Preview

Going into Week 12, the Cowboys vs. Giants is expected to be a close match as the two teams' offensive stats are almost the same, where their rush yards per game are both at 77 yards and passing yards and total yards at less than 10 yards difference. The Cowboys are ranked 2nd in NFC East and 5th in the league for points scored per game on average. The Giants, on the other hand, are ranked 3rd in NFC East.

Cowboys' Tony Romo has led Dallas with 21 touchdowns and 2,680 passing yards. Wide receiver Dez Bryant have also led with eight touchdowns and 749 yards. Other players including DeMarco Murray, Jason Witten, Terrance Williams have also contributed as the leading scorer on the team.

While the Cowboys are poised to score more, their defense in total yards per game allowed is one of the worst in the league with 439 yards. So Giants' Eli Manning although did not deliver as well, he have a fair chance at delivering the scoring passes and plays for the Giants to win Week 12's game.

If the Cowboys can strengthen their defense and Romo can deliver consistently as he has so far, Dallas have a slight advantage over New York. According to offensive comparison, Cowboys and Giants have very close stats in all offensive categories except points per game, where Dallas out performs Giants at 27.4 yards per game, almost a ten yards difference on average.
