New York Rangers vs. Philadelphia Flyers Stanley Cup Playoffs Game 3 will begin at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. The No. 5 seed Rangers will visit the No. 6 Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Penn. Information on how to watch the Rangers vs. Flyers game on live stream can be found below.
The Flyers are known to break the rules, provoking, inciting, and pestering their opponents. Only eight NHL teams were penalized fewer minutes this season. It is expected that Flyers will attempt to intimidate physically or mentally the Rangers.
However, coming out of Game 2, the Flyers are realizing the seriousness of keeping the penalties down, especially after they were shorthanded 12 times in the first two games.
"There's penalties we could have avoid," forward Vincent Lecavailier said, according to NHL.com. "I think you look at any game, they're calling a lot of hooking and grabbing, slashes. They'll call all that. We have to make sure we're discipline."
In response, the Rangers, who have matched the intensity, but not the penalty minutes, will try their best to maintain a cool head as they receive the visiting Flyers.
Flyers have not won at Madison Square Garden since Feb. 20, 2011.
Meanwhile, Flyers captain Claude Giroux became NHL's third-most scorer after putting in three goals and four assists in the final four regular-season games, according to NHL.com.
Flyers' flagship radio is 97.5 FM The Fantastic for the fans in Philadelphia. The Fantastic will carry 64 regular season games, with the remaining 18 games airing on Greater Media sister station 93.3 WMMR due to scheduling conflicts. To listen to the game online, click here.
