Thomas Nelson and members of the "Duck Dynasty" family have teamed up to create a unique Bible that focuses on faith, family, fellowship, forgiveness, and freedom. "The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible" bears the theme of the Robertson's Duck Commander business, and will be based on the New King James Version of God's word.

The Robertson family is known for their faith in Christ and their desire to see others come to know Him as their Savior. Patriarch Phil Robertson was known as "The Billy Graham of Duck Hunting" long before "Duck Dynasty" ever aired, and has personally baptized around 300 people in the river behind their Louisiana home. His oldest son Alan felt called to be in the ministry as a young man, and served as a pastor at White's Ferry Road Church of Christ for over twenty years before retiring to focus on the family business.

The Christian Post reports that "The Duck Commander Faith and Family Bible," will include 30 testimonials of life-change from knowing Jesus Christ and over 100 "Set Your Sights" notes written by Phil and Alan, who served as executive editors of the project. "This is just one more way that we can present, as ministers, the message of Jesus to the world around us," Phil says. The Bible will also feature 52 reading plan devotionals written by the patriarch and his son.

"The Robertson family's passion for the Word is infectious and the impact of their ministry is amazing. We see this Bible as being something people can grow with in their own personal walk with God," says Robert Sanford, vice president of Thomas Nelson's Bible Group.

The Duck Commander Bible is expected to be released on October 28.
