The Broncos are 1-0 in their Preseason standings, and the 49ers are 0-1. According to Kyle Montgomery from Mile High Report, Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is likely to play from at least a quarter to an entire first half. As this is the only away game that Manning will get, the star quarterback hopes to gain more away game experiences to ensure maximum preparation leading up to the regular season. Manning and company will need to come back into the tournament and make every effort to push till they make to the Super Bowl championship.

Since it is Levi Stadium's first opening game, the Broncos will certainly get a loud reception from the 49ers fans in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Starters who are out are running back Montee Ball and linebacker Danny Trevathan, and wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. As for those who returned, All Pro left tackle Ryan Clady and an All Pro pass rusher Von Miller make Denver formidable in defense. In the defensive secondary, they've added T.J. Ward. Also, defensive tackle Sylvester Williams, who was Denver's top draft pick last year, is having an impressive offseason performance.

While most are anticipating for Ball's return in Week 1, Williams has made spectacular plays in practice - intercepting Manning, tipping passes - that would make Sportscenter Top 10, said Mile High Report's Montgomery.

The 49ers are expected to have quarterback Blaine Gabbert start. As a backup QB, he would need to show a much stronger performance than his 3-11 stats against the Baltimore Ravens in the preseason opener.

Since Broncos attempted the most passes last season, 49ers ought to put their first-round draft pick to work, because many rookies would benefit from this learning experience of guarding veteran receiver Wes Welker and others.
