Manning could set records against the Colt's defense Sunday night.

Last year was a homecoming for Peyton Manning, but this year it's going to be Mayhem on the Mountain. The Indianapolis Colts won the first game behind Luck last year, but this year, the game is in Manning's new house, and things could get real ugly for the Colts.

Time: 5:30 Pacific, 8:30 Eastern

Where: Sports Authority Field at Mile High

Television: NBC

One big difference to this year's matchup is that Colts star pass rusher Robert Mathis, who was instrumental in  the victory over the Broncos last year, will not be part of the festivities.  Last year he sacked Manning 2 times and forced a fumble, but this year he is out for the first four games due to a suspension.

Meanwhile, Manning's AFC Champion Broncos have reloaded and are gunning once again to contend for a Super Bowl.  Denver signed Demarcus Ware from the Cowboys since losing last years championship game, and we will all see why on Sunday night.

If the Colts fall behind, and they probably will, look for the pass rushers to go at the Colt hard and look for Luck to be on his back a lot.  No doubt, the Bronco's defensive unit is ready to get started.

Luck may have trouble staying on his feet this season.

The Colts have a talented offense though, so look for them to put some points on the board.  But expect the Broncos to really light up the scoreboard.

You know Manning is still stinging from the loss last year, and wants to take vengeance to soothe the pain.  He has plenty of tools to do it too, with Brandon Marshall and Demaryius Thomas looking great this preseason.  Also, the Broncos are expecting Wes Welker to have recovered from his concussion issues and return for the opener.

Prediction: Manning and the Broncos will be the big horses on the ranch after game 1.  Denver 35 - Indianapolis 17
