With Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire launching on November 21, eager fans are excited to hear more how to capture the new Latias and Latios legendary Pokémon.
According to a new post on the official Pokémon website, to get Latias and Latios you'll need access to the Eon Ticket through Streetpass. That means that the only way to get these two new Pokémon is through someone else who already has them. Once you get the Eon Ticket passed on to you, simply head down to Southern Island and catch the legendary Pokémon from there.
The Eon Tickets will start off with Play! Pokémon League Leaders who will spread them around to players in game. You'll need to make sure to keep Streetpass on and hang out at the popular Pokémon events like tournaments and Pokémon League locations.
Latias and Latios are both bird-like dragon Pokémon that will appear in the new games and be capturable for the first time in their mega evolution forms. Latias will be in Pokémon Omega Ruby and Latios will make his appearance in Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. These most recent games will mark the first time every single Pokémon will be capturable on the 3DS.
A special anime short has also been revealed that will run on Japan's BS Japan TV channel. The short shows off gameplay and will run on November 16 with the Pokémon: Destiny Deoxys movie. It features the voicework of popular Japanese singer, voice actress and Pokémon fan Shoko Nakagawa.
"The furious battle between Rayquaza and Deoxys comes back to life! Pocket Monsters Advance Generation: Rekkū no Hōmonsha! Deoxys," the short says, as translated by AnimeNewsNetwork.com. "In addition, a special look at the upcoming games Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. A new special short anime is also going to premiere! Your navigator will be Shoko Nakagawa. The broadcast begins on November 16 at 7 p.m.!"
