Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will have several exciting reveals in the upcoming new episode of Season 2, The Things We Bury. In the sections below, we will explore the top three spoilers that are making the rounds.

Episode 8 of Season 2 will debut this Tuesday on Nov. 18 at 9/8c on ABC network.

Is Ward Now Working for S.H.I.E.L.D.?

In a surprising turn of events, Grant Ward has turned against HYDRA. Halfway into the previous episode The Writing on the Wall, the rogue agent arranges a meeting with top-level HYDRA agent Sunil Bakshi (Simon Kassianides) at an Irish American pub. Afterwards, Ward kills everyone present except for Bakshi whom he turns over to S.H.I.E.L.D. as a gift.

S.H.I.E.L.D. director Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) assigns Skye to hack into Bakshi's smartphone to uncover potential intel. While working, Skye (Chloe Bennet) receives a call from Ward. During the tense phone conversation, he promises to send additional presents like Bakshi. After hanging up, Ward is seen finalizing plans to kidnap his older brother, Senator Christian Ward (Tim DeKay).

What more surprises will Ward have in store for the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Fitz is Back in the Field

Meanwhile, S.H.I.E.L.D. scientist Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) is slowly recovering from his near-fatal brush with death. In the previous season, Fitz survives oxygen deprivation after being dumped into the ocean while stuck inside a medical pod. The beloved character suffers from brain damage, which impairs his motor and cognitive abilities.

Even so, Fitz desperately tries to get back in the field. According to a clip released by Marvel Entertainment, he will get his chance in the upcoming eighth episode. In the recent spoiler, Agent Coulson's team lands in Hawaii.

After handing out specific instructions to agents Skye and Triplett (B.J. Britt), Coulson assigns Fitz with installing a transceiver "in the field under pressure in less than six minutes."

"You are aware I only have one hand that works," Fitz says.

"That's why you will practice it over and over until you've got it down cold," Agent Coulson bluntly replies. "Muscle memory...don't think about the action. Let the action help you think."

Will Fitz be up to the task while in the field?

 Agent Carter Flashback

This week, Marvel released a second sneak preview showing Agent Carter (Peggy Atwell) interrogating captured German scientist Werner Reinhardt (Reed Diamond). During questioning, Reinhardt says that Earth has been visited by aliens in the past. Rather than being humanity's saviors, the "visitors" were planning to conquer Earth.

Last season, it was revealed that Coulson was resurrected with alien blood. The transfusion causes Phil to carve strange diagrams on the wall. In episode 7, Coulson realizes that the markings are the blueprint for an alien city. So, it is likely the alien were intending to build a super colony on the Green Planet. With that said, there may be a major alien showdown sometime in the show's future.
