A coroner ruled her February 11, 2012, death an accidental drowning, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors.

However, while the circumstances surrounding Brown are eerily similar to her mother's, police and medical examiners remain unsure of what the 21 year old's unresponsiveness, as investigators found nothing to indicate it was drug- or alcohol-related.

"We are currently investigating the events that led to the hospitalization of Bobbi Kristina," Christopher Brown of Brown & Rosen LLC told Us Weekly.

According to Hollywood Life, Bobbi Kristina was never able to come to terms with the tragic death of her mother, and had considered getting treatment for her alleged struggle with depression.
