Cissy Houston, mother of the late Whitney Houston and grandmother of  Bobbi Kristina Brown, recently revealed that while her granddaughter's condition remains unchanged, the family is placing her uncertain future in God's hands.

Speaking on Wednesday, Houston thanked fans for their support but said the family hasn't seen "a great deal of hope" in regards to Bobbi Kristina's health.

"She's the same," Houston, 81, said in an interview with New York radio station WBLS. "We've moved her to a place for rehabilitation. And you know, still not a great deal of hope. [We're] still praying.

Houston explained that she is at peace, whatever the outcome. "I'm asking everyone to pray to the Lord, who we know can do something about it," she said. "If He works a miracle, thank God. And if it happens the other way, I'm alright."

She added, "I give it to God one time, because I know he's able, and I cannot change a thing."

Bobbi Kristina, the only daughter of the late Grammy-awarded singer Whitney Houston and R&B singer/ rapper Bobby Brown, was found face down and unresponsive in the bathtub of her Atlanta-area home on January 31.  According to medical experts, Bobbi Kristina was deprived of oxygen while in the bathtub for anywhere from two to fifteen minutes, which indicate she has experienced significant brain damage. The 22 year old remained in a medically-induced coma at Emory University Hospital for several weeks before she was transferred to a rehabilitation facility for long-term care at the request of her father.

"This hasn't gotten any easier for [Bobby Brown]," a family source explained to People. "It has gotten harder. He really thought she'd be better by now, that there would be some change. There hasn't been any sign of improvement since this happened."

Although the exact cause of her current condition remains unknown, a report which recently surfaced alleges that Bobbi Kristina was under the influence of drugs and drinking heavily on the morning she was found unresponsive. The source also claims the 22 year old  had been using cocaine, heroin, and Xanax in the months prior to the incident.

"How thin she had gotten is an indicator," the source told People. "This girl was trying hard, but she didn't have any support system. She was still dealing with a lot of grief over her mother."

However, police are currently treating her case as a criminal investigation due to "certain bruising" and other suspicious markings found on her body.

"Foul play is being investigated, including drug use and possibly cover-up to remove evidence from the crime scene," the family source told PEOPLE magazine.

Bobbi Kristina's boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has previously questioned by investigators due to the pair's tumultuous, and often violent, relationship. Gordon, who hasn't been allowed to see her since she was hospitalized, recently went into rehab following a dramatic, intoxicated taped appearance broadcast on the March 11 episode of "The Dr. Phil Show"

At the time, Gordon admitted to Phil McGraw that he'd been drinking heavily and using Xanax, and his mother claimed that the 25-year-old had tried to commit suicide.
