The New York Mets (31-27, currently first place in the NL East) will take on the San Francisco Giants (32-26, currently second place in the NL West) at 7:10 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday, June 9, 2015.  This is the beginning of a three-game series, which will begin at CitiField in New York.  Here's what you will need to know if you want to watch the San Francisco Giants vs. New York Mets June 9th, 2015 game on your TV channel, Radio station, or Live Stream Free the event.

For those that want to livestream the event, there are several options.  This link from Sports World Report should provide you what you need to see the first game of the series, as well as this link from Stream2Watch can provide you with many baseball games.

For television, look for the game on Comcast SportsNet Bay Area or SNY, according to wralSPORTSfan. For those that wish to tune in on the radio, the local station of 680 AM in San Francisco will be airing it on their time starting at 4:10, Pacific Time.  It is possible to go to Tunein online and hear it from there, as KNBR is also available for the iPhone and Google Play for your phone or tablet as well.

As for a preview of the game, Ecumenical News reports that the Mets have been impressive at home, which means that the Giants could be added to their 21-8 record when hosting home games.  However, the Giants are only half a game behind their division leaders, which are currently the Los Angeles Dodgers.  Of course, the Giants are only one of the two teams in the NL West with a road record of above .500 and are 16-12 when visiting other stadiums.

It is very clear that a big win is going to set the pace for this three game series.  Still the Giants are considered the favorites to win their series, even though the Mets have that homefield advantage.  Right now, the competitors are pretty evenly matched, and it literally could be anyone's game.  So far, this is the first time that the teams are meeting this season, but they will have a return series in San Francisco in July.
