The fun and excitement continues as Walt Disney confirms that Frozen, the highest grossing animated movie of all time, will return to the big screen in 2018 with the much-loved Queen Elsa, Princess Anna, Kristoff, Sven and the huggable Olaf back for Frozen 2.

Details about the much-awaited sequel are scarce as film creators Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck are tight-lipped about the storyline and movie plot, only confirming that both will be returning to the franchise as director and co-director.

Although Buck hinted that the producers and writers for Frozen 2 have already agreed to an ending, he did not take the liberty of providing additional information, Master Herald said. The major details about the upcoming sequel remain top-secret for its creators at this time.

Several theories of movie plots have emerged already. Some suggested a wedding between Princess Anna and Kristoff as their love story continues from the first move, according to Latino Post. Others speculated that Queen Elsa will find her love interest in Frozen 2. Some have even suggested that Olaf could be Elsa's love interest in the sequel.

Olaf was easily loved by fans and some are saying Elsa might use her magnificent powers to transform the snowman into the man of her dreams.

An evil king is also speculated to bring trouble and threaten the kingdom of Arendelle. Queen Elsa will use her powers to battle the new villain in Frozen 2, with the plot based from Frank Baum's book, "Ozma of Oz". After all, Ozma of Oz and Frozen share similar theme and Queen Elsa's character bears some resemblance to Ozma of Oz's Dorothy of Kansas.

But CrossMap reported that a female villain would be introduced in Frozen 2 who also has powers and the exact opposite of Elsa. The villain will cause trouble to the kingdom and she and Elsa will have a fiery confrontation, the report said.

There were also some suggestions that Frozen 2 will actually be a prequel that will dwell on how Elsa got her magical powers as well as the creatures in the kingdom. VC Post reported that the second movie could flashback at the time when the King of Arendelle was looking at the "book with a map" inside the library to search for the trolls who cured Anna.

In the first Frozen movie, Prince Hans was introduced initially as a good man who will give everything and do anything for the sake of Queen Elsa and Princess Anna. Later on, it was revealed the Prince Hans was actually a very ambitious and greedy man who only wants to use the two sister to become king of Arendelle.

In Frozen 2, Realty Today, said Hans will have a change of heart and will be reintroduced as a good guy and will play a major role in helping Queen Elsa and Princess Anna in saving the kingdom of Arendelle.
