It looks like Batman has been very busy doing his homework for his confrontation with the Man of Steel in the forthcoming Warner Bros. film Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, which is scheduled for release on March 29, 2016.

In the on-going San Diego Comic-Con, loyal fans were treated a sneak preview at some of Batman's new gadgets and weaponries, as well as the metal costume Ben Affleck will be donning as the Caped Crusader

Attendees of the convention can view Batman's new gadgets, including a big gun that is described as a grenade launcher, sticky bombs to accompany other weapons, the usual grappling gun, many other devices simply classified as bat gadgets, Batman's cowl and the new Batarangs.

Some of the gadgets on display have vague description that viewers will only find out their use only after seeing the movie, said Slash Film.

And to give fans of Batman and Superman a closer look into the upcoming movie, the cast of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, including Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot, along with director Zack Snyder, will take the Hall H stage of the convention center on July 11, Saturday for the Warner Bros. Pictures panel, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

The cast will answer questions from fans and also provide exclusive look at footage and official trailer for the March release of the movie.

Based on the display, Batman's armored exoskeleton could easily rival Iron Man's Mark 1 suit when he tackles Superman, said a report by Yahoo. Bruce Wayne is also reported to have developed a weapon using kryptonite that he will use against the Man of Steel. We will have to wait if Batman's glowing eyes, as shown on the trailer, will spew out a kryptonite beam to cripple Superman.

It is reasonable for Bruce Wayne to do heavy research on how to take down his most formidable foe as yet and he needs to pack more power when he battles it out with Superman. He cannot underestimate Clark Kent, can he?

One of the most interesting new Batman gadget is the 'Tech Cowl', an odd-looking piece of high-tech hood. The Tech Cowl features optical lenses and various wires that are probably connected to Batman's new vehicles and other gadgets.

Looking at his new weapons and gadgets, it seems that Batman has been given enough fighting chance to take down Superman. We'll just have to wait for it though.

This will be the first time the Caped Crusader will tangle with the Man of Steel onscreen with Director Zack Snyder revealing that the idea to pit Superman against Batman started out as an idea for a cool Easter Egg in a meeting with franchise co-captains Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer.

Snyder told EW, "I said, 'What about at the end of the movie we do a scene where there's a crate full of kryptonite delivered to Wayne Manor. Everyone was like...'Okaay.' Once you say it out loud it's a problem because you can't unsay it."

The idea caught on obviously. Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent both don the most popular pair of capes in the superhero world and are two of the biggest names in comics.

Warner Bros., and DC Comics like the idea so much that they created this DC Extended Universe road map and plan to release a "Justice League" movie, featuring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman in 2017, reported the Daily News.
