The demand in America of Tekken 7's arcade versions will determine if Japanese game developer Bandai Namco will add online play of the hugely popular video game, said Katsuhiro Harada, director of Tekken 7.

Speaking at the Tekken 7 panel at this year's Evolution Championship Series (EVO 2015) tournaments in the main Bally's/Paris Convention Center halls, Harada added that the availability of Tekken 7 arcade machine would on other arcades would depend on the willingness of arcade operators to invest in the machines and participate in local tests for Tekken 7.

These and other information were revealed by Harada at EVO 7, said Ozzie Mejia of Shack News. And to give gamers the ultimate experience in gaming, the popular fighting game will use the power of Unreal Engine 4 to deliver the next evolution of fighting impact.

Tekken 7 will likely target high-end game systems such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but no official platform support has been confirmed by Bandai Namco.

While giving no specific date, Harada provided some links on the release date of Tekken 7 on the PS4 and Xbox One platforms as he explained that the team at Bandai Namco are rushing the full development of Tekken 7 on the arcade version so that there will be less bugs and everything is polished once the console versions are released in the U.S.

In the meantime, Harada said the Tekken team is encouraging gamers who have played Tekken 7's arcade version to provide them with feedbacks to further improve the game. Currently, Tekken is accepting feedbacks from Japanese players, but players in America can will be given the opportunity to send their feedbacks soon.
