The Walking Dead Star, Alanna Masterson, Confirms Pregnancy

The Walking Dead Star Alanna Masterson has confirmed she is expecting a baby.

On Monday, the 27-year-old Masterson posted a photo on her Instragram showing her touching her bulging belly with a baby emoji, "@BrickStowell," and captioned it, "Guess what..." This will be Masterson first child with boyfriend photographer Brick Stowell.

The post quickly drew reactions from her followers and generated almost 40,000 likes as of this writing. The message were mostly congratulations, but some followers expressed concern her pregnancy might cause her to be terminated from the AMC hit series, The Walking Dead, which is set to air its Season Six on October 11.

One follower named @radmimi posted, "@yeeeeaaakarla they're gonna dead ass kill her off the show."

Another one, Theo Nash Williams, @theo_nash, wrote, "No! Don't say you're gonna get killed off on TWD @lucytwobows."

In a report, E! Online said there had been tell-tale signs about Masterson's pregnancy over the past few weeks. The report cited a picture of Masterson wherein several props have been strategically placed probably to hide her growing tummy. In other photos, Masterson was seen wearing some loose fashion attire.

Masterson also posted a photo on Instagram over the weekend while enjoying a sumptuous meal at Jon & Vinnys in Los Angeles. "Oh boy, do I love to eat," the caption reads.

Masterson portrayed Tara Chambler on the AMC series The Walking Dead and was introduced in the show's fourth season. Chambler is a former Atlanta Police Academy student who lived with her father, her sister Lilly, and her niece Meghan. She joined Rick Grime's group after being involved in the siege of the prison following the Governor's order

Masterson was promoted to a series regular for the fifth season.

The Walking Dead Season Six premiers on October 11.
