Playstation Plus Free Games For August 2015 Pending, July Titles Update

August's Playstation Plus free game lists remains a mystery at this time, even though a Sony representative promised that the list will be announced this week. Bear in mind that the Playstation Plus Free games list require a paid-but-cheap subscription first. This is a saving considering that many games run anywhere between $20-$60 USD.

For now, Sony remains mum on the free games that will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

Subscribers Demanding August Free Games list

Recently, impatient Plus subscribers began asking on the comments section of Playstation Europe's blog when the free games list will be available - according to a report by Push Square.

A spokesman soon responded with the comment, "Hold tight." The same person also said that announcements are made one week before the complimentary game is available. Theoretically, that means subscribers will know the free games list in the next 48 hours or so.

July PS Plus Free Games Still Available

 While waiting for the August free games, PS Plus subscribers can still continue enjoying free games from July.

For PlayStation 4 owners, there games Rocket League and Styx: Master of the Shadows are available for free download. Playstation 3 subscribers will continue to have access to Rain. PS Vita players will have the opportunity to play Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions Evolved.

The games Entwined and MouseCraft are available to PS Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

New PlayStation Games for August (Not Free)

In the month of August, Sony will be releasing a slew of new videogame titles on all three of its major platforms.

Notable titles for PlayStation 4 include Until Dawn, Madden NFL 16, Dishonored: Definitive Edition and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3. All of these titles will be released in North America on August 25. However, it is important to note that these release dates are subject to change.
