As the Toronto Blue Jays make their way to the Yankees Stadium in Bronx, New York, fans and followers of the major league games are excited to find out whether the latest trades and acquisitions of the team will hold a candle to one of MLB's leading clubhouses. Facing off with the New York Yankees on Friday, the Blue Jays are expected to debut the newly-acquired David Price from the Detroit Tigers.

Ranked at seventh place this postseason, the Blue Jays appeared to have sought the skills of Price in an effort to resolve the recurring concern regarding the pitching of the Toronto team. The entrance of the former Tigers pitcher came soon after the Blue Jays welcomed Troy Tulowitzki. The shortstop previously played for the Colorado Rockies.

Price's debut showed immense promise and offered an exciting season for the Blue Jays. Speaking of his remarkable first run with the Toronto team, Price relayed his enthusiasm to help the Blue Jays succeed and shared his gratitude over how not only the entire team but also the whole country embraced him following his entrance to the clubhouse. With the overwhelming support he received, Price had no doubt in his mind that he will exhaust all possible measures to bring home the MLB championship to Toronto. In addition to Price and Tulowitzki, the Blue Jays also turn to third baseman Josh Donaldson to lead the Toronto team this Friday.

"I want to win and I don't just want to win for one or two seasons and I want to be a part of something special," Price said in an interview following his debut on Monday at the Rogers Center, according to Sports Net. He added, "That's what drives me every single day. I don't work out and act the way that I act every single day - it's not money driven, I want to win. To me, that's why I play this game and I want to be on a team where that's the way everybody plays this game because it's all about winning."

Meanwhile, the New York team also saw a successful debut on Wednesday night against the Red Sox. Sending Luis Severino to the mound for the first, the Yankees proved that the prized MLB star is worth the wait and money spent on his acquisition. Coming off from an impressive run at Triple A, Severino dazzled at his debut and is now hailed as the potential successor of the great Red Sox starting pitcher, Pedro Martinez.

While Michael Pineda remains off the field throughout August, it looks like Severino and his fellow Yankees will have to make do with what they have. With Ivan Nova, Masahiro Tanaka and Nathan Eovaldi in the New York team's roster, sports analysts believe that the Yankees could make a decent run this postseason. Should all else fail, the New York team can turn to Carsten Charles "CC" Sabathia, Jr. as he is regarded as one of the few to have accumulated enough postseason experience to be considered a veteran. Apart from these stars, the Yankees are also led by vets Mark Teixeira and Alex Rodriguez who are both considered as two of the top homers in AL today, according to The Star.

The match between the Toronto Blue Jays and the New York Yankees is scheduled at 7 pm on August 7, 2015.
