The next season of HBO original series Game of Thrones will return in 2016 as production for Season 6 is currently on-going in Belfast, Germany.

Thanks to loyal fans of the popular series, we are treated with a ton of spoilers and revelations, from returning characters seen on the set, to some juicy inside information.

Fans have reported seeing Rory McCann, who plays the character Sandor 'The Hound' Clegane in GOT in the quarters of the cast and crew in Belfast triggering speculations he will be returning in season 6, according to the Telegraph.

Game of Thrones fan web site Watchers on the Wall has reported that Rory was spotted at a favorite hotel by the cast of GOT. McCann, the web site claimed, has no scheduled project in Belfast and has no reason to there except, perhaps, to shoot some scenes.

The original book written by George R.R. Martin was ambiguous on the "death" of the Hound- or rather, Sandor Clegane. In Martin's A Feast for Crows in 2005, it was written that the Hound was left for dead but did not categorically stated that he was actually dead.

Many book readers are speculating that Clegane might make a comeback in the HBO series should the producers decide to follow the book story or choose different version. Clegane was mortally wounded Brienne of Tarth and left for dead last season four.

Another report by Vanity Fair has suggested a sequence about Meribald's revelation that the Hound may have survive from the injuries sustained from  Brienne and was living anonymously as a gravedigger at a monastery.

The report also cited a fan-concocted theory that the Hound will engage the Mountain a.k.a.  Gregor Clegane, in an epic fight to the death battle - possibly a trial by combat in Young Cersei Lannister's (Nell Williams) name.

Jon Snow Confirms Death

Also sighted in Belfast is Kit Harrington who plays  Jon Snow, indicating that his character, although seen dead during the previous season, might play a huge role once again, reported Cross Map.

However, Harrington, as well as the cast and producers of Game of Thrones, have confirmed Snow's death in the last season, but fans are still hoping he would return. His presence in Belfast might say a lot about a "new important role" his characters will have in the coming episodes.

Game of Thrones season six will return to HBO in 2016.
