The third week of the 2015 NFL preseason games will see the Cleveland Browns and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The NFL preseason match between the two teams is scheduled on August 29, 2015 (Saturday) at 11:00 am (MHT).
Given the strengths and weaknesses exhibited by the Browns and Buccaneers in the first two weeks of the 2015 NFL preseason, sports analysts predict that the NFL host team will beat the visitors this weekend.
The Browns are stepping in the Raymond James Stadium fresh off an 11 - 10 loss against the Buffalo Bills incurred during the second week of the NFL preseason. The games of the Browns showed off the NFL team's relatively weak offense. In addition, Cleveland starting quarterback Josh McCown exhibited a weaker performance compared with his backup, Johnny Manziel. In the game agains Buffalo, Cleveland saw McCown finishing seven out of 10 attempts for 57 yards plus two interception.
In contrast, Manziel showed off his skills by throwing 118 yards and completing a touchdown. While the fans and followers of the Browns found Manziel's play impressive, the backup quarterback incurred an elbow injury after the match against the Bills. Hence, the Browns will not see Manziel in the match against the Buccaneers and up until the 2015 preseason finals. With the elbow injury ailing the up and coming Browns backup quarterback, it comes as no surprise that the team wants Manziel fully recovered and healthy once the NFL regular season commences.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are coming the match against the Browns on Saturday with a win against the Cincinnati Bengals of 25 - 11 in second week of the 2015 NFL preseason. The Week 2 game saw Tampa Bay star Mike Glennon complete 10 out of 15 passes for 121 yards as well as score one touchdown.
