So is Serena Williams ready to become Mrs. Drake?

Rumors are rife that the world's top female singles tennis player and the Canadian rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor are not just seeing each other again, but that they're planning to walk down the aisle.

OK! Magazine has reported that the two lovebirds "are happy with just being happy," and that Serena "said yes, but they want to keep it on the down-low for now."

OK! further reports that Drake took the tennis star to his hometown where he completed the romantic getaway by getting down on one knee and presenting a ring. The report also said that Serena's friends and family couldn't be happier as all of them approve of "Drake the Gentleman."

It's not so hard to believe rumors regarding Drake and Serena's impending marriage. Even though they had separated in 2011, the two have kept in touch.

Previously, Drake had briefly dated fellow pop artist Rihanna, a development that set off an altercation between him and Rihanna's ex, Chris Brown. However, the romance did not last and Drake was soon spotted in the arms of the champion tennis player at a Cincinnati restaurant only last August. Drake was also noticeably cheering Serena on during the Wimbledon Champion's U.S. Open matches. On top of that, he even managed to get front row during Serena's HSN Fashion Show in New York Fashion Week.

Social media fanned the flames of the rumors anew when fan-taken photographs of the on-and-off couple went viral, with Serena seen sitting too close for comfort next to the singer in the very intimate snapshots.

However, the Daily Mail slams the wedding rumors between the two, with a representative from the rapper categorically denying that no such proposal ever took place. Neither is Serena admitting or denying any such rumors. The tennis star has been known to be a very private individual and has kept all romantic updates to herself.

However, rumors continue to abound as one source says: 'Now that [Drake] has her, he isn't letting her go,'
