If you are a major fanatic for The Flash and Arrow, then you will be gobsmacked if you don't catch Episode 8 of the Flash Season 2, entitled Legends of Today.

TV Fanatic reports that viewers will be in for a treat when they find that the Arrow and Flash teams will get entwined in a major crossover episode.

First of all, Hawkgirl and Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) will be embroiled in a bit of trouble, and they will be in it together. The Flash and Arrow teams will join forces to protect the two Hawk people from Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) - the time-traveling villain who is threatening the well-being of almost everyone.

The trouble begins when Savage gets his eye on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renee), who is dating Cisco (Carlos Valdes).

After they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help, he takes Kendra to Star City and asks the team to hide her until they put down the villain.

Despite the Flash's strong confidence in their ability to defeat the no-good characters, this may not be the case for the days to come. The report says Savage will remain as the major villain in DC's Legends of Tomorrow. Ending his interference permanently may not be the case here at all.

The best part of the episode is that everyone will see action (and maybe try to outdo each other): The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Felicity, Cisco and Malcolm Merlyn even steps up their heroic antics.

Carter and Kendra have a bit of drama going when Kendra tells Carter that people are hard at work trying to rescue them.

There is also a bit of side action happening when Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster. Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) gets to test it out.

The episode is directed by Ralph Hemecker, and the story is authored by Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg. The teleplay is written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing.

Comic Book Movie says The Flash is taking a brief hiatus until The action begins on The Flash on Tuesday, December 1.
