The Falcons (10-3, 7-1 Mid-American Conference) and the Eagles ((8-4, 6-2 Sun Belt) are two of the league's most prolific teams regarding the offensive attack.

Matt Johnson of Bowling Green led the country in passing yards (4,700) and has thrown 43 touchdown passes to just eight interceptions. The Falcon's quarterback has four targets that have 56 or more catches, with wide receiver Roger Lewis leading the team with 82 catches, 1,476 yards, and 15 touchdowns.

Furthermore, the team's Art Briles-inspired attack ranks fifth in the country in scoring offense (43.4 points per game), fourth in total offense (561 yards per game) and eighth in adjusted pace.

In an interview with interim head coach Brian Ward, he said the game against the Eagles is an opportunity for Bowling Green to win the 11th game and finish the season being ranked.

"We win a bowl game, we have an opportunity to finish the season ranked in the Top 25, which makes this a significant year in (Bowling Green) football history," Ward said in a published statement from ESPN.

On the other hand, Georgia Southern makes more than 355 yards per game, which is easily tops in the nation. Their running back Matt Breida is the best of the bunch in the backfield with 1,586 yards and 16 touchdowns.

Sports analysts say Eagle's strength is its ground attack.  Breida and quarterback Kevin Ellison lift the team with 6.5 yards per carry.

The coaching staff of the Eagles implemented the triple-option attack used under former coach Jeff Monken and used some spread-option principles over the last two seasons.

For game prediction, Bleacher Report said Bowling Green does everything Georgia State does better. In addition, the Eagles do not have an effective defense strategy to slow the multifaceted attack.

Prediction: Falcons 45, Eagles 35
