PS4 and PC gamers can now rejoice. It seems that they too soon would experience "Rise of the Tomb Raider," which was hailed by many as one of the best games of 2015.

When it was released last Nov. 10, alongside another popular game, "Fallout 4," "Rise of the Tomb Raider" was a Xbox exclusive. PS4 and PC gamers, therefore, were not given the chance to experience what Xbox gamers were raving about these days. All these are about to change, with word spreading that "Rise of the Tomb Raider" may be released in PC edition this January.

While neither Crystal Dynamics nor Square Enix released anything official announcing the PC edition, a listing for the PC edition of the game posted on the gaming site Steam's implies this. Moreover, even though there is still no exact release date, January 2016 is the speculated date.

News for a PS4 edition is more definite than that of the release date. This past summer, Square Enix announced that PS4 gamers can enjoy the game in "Holiday 2016."

This December, "Rise of the Tomb Raider" continues to please Xbox One gamers. It is the best selling digital game during the Christmas week, evidently showing the fun that Xbox One gamers had first and now may be potentially experienced by PS4 and PC gamers. Lara Croft ones, no matter what their main gaming consoles are, will be given the chance to enjoy the game come 2016.

Before doing so great during the Christmas week, Microsoft has also asserted that the action-adventure game has "done well." In an interview with DualShockers, marketing executive of Microsoft, Aaron Greenberg shared that gamers choosing "Fallout 4" is not putting "Tomb Raider" aside. There were speculations that the release of "Fallout 4" and "Tomb Raider" on the same date dampened sales for "Tomb Raider" but this was not the case. "It launched in a very crowded window, but it has done well," the executive said. "A lot of people bought both Fallout 4 and Tomb Raider. At the same time we know a lot of people may have bought Tomb Raider and wait on Fallout or bought Fallout and waited on Tomb Raider."

The executive shared the company is mighty pleased with the response, and he is not that surprised, considering how well-dine the game is. "I think first you look at reviews that were really strong... The game is an incredibly high-quality game, really fun to play, challenging, I think one of the most beautiful game I've ever seen on the Xbox One," he said.

With the release of the game on PC and PS4 versions, sales are expected to increase further.
