HTC has many surprises this year for their followers. The tech company will release the highly-anticipated Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on the HTC One M9 and the One M8, and their latest flagship device HTC One M10 will hit the market very soon. Here's the latest news about HTC phones for carriers like Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, US Cellular, and AT&T.

Let's start with the Android M rollout.  For users of unlocked versions of HTC One M8 and One M9, they will receive the Android M after OTA (over-the-air) notification, according to Mo Versi, vice president of HTC product management. The users of unlocked devices are those who are not subscribed to mobile carriers like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and US Cellular.

Aside from the One M9 and the One M8, other devices that will get the Android M update include The HTC One M9+, HTC One E9, HTC One ME, HTC One E8, HTC One M8 EYE, HTC Butterfly 3, HTC Desire 826, HTC Desire 820 and HTC Desire 816. The upgrade will arrive sometime this year, according to Tech Radar.

In the case of older devices like HTC One M7, HTC will not provide the Android M update.

For gadgets lovers who want to have a device with Android 6.0 right out of the box, they should purchase HTC One X9 (not to be confused with the A9 or the M9).

Meanwhile, HTC One M10 is the rumored flagship device that is expected to release in the first quarter of the year to replace the HTC One M9. IB times reported that the M10 would hit the markets in March this year.

For its processing capability, it will be powered Snapdragon 820 SoC and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. Just like One M9, its internal storage will be at 32 GB and is expected to carry support for up to 32 GB of microSD on external storage.

The HTC One M10 is expected to excel in the camera features. The rumor mill has claimed that it will be arriving with an OIS enabled 27-megapixel camera.

The latest flagship device of HTC is set to release at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 event that will be held in Barcelona, as per Tech Radar reports said. Depending on the storage variant, the HTC One M10 price is expected to range from $650 to $800.
