‘Legend of Zelda’ Wii U Updates and Release Date: ‘Twilight Princess HD’ Features Amiibos

"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" is one of Nintendo's upcoming game line-up and it has been reported that the game is set to focus on some amiibo features.

In a trailer of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD," it is seen that the Wolf Link amiibo can be utilized to pen the gates to the Cave of Shadows, wherein Wolf Link and Midna would encounter several bunches of enemies.

The Wolf Link is also needed to save the remaining hearts after finishing the cave. Players can also re-access Cave of Shadows in the future if the want to beat their personal high score. According to Nintendo Minute, changing Link to Wolf Link would be much easier in the forthcoming game, with only one press of a button. 

According to Crossmap, the Wolf Link amiibo is not only for "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD," but also for the forthcoming "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U.

Some "The Legend of Zelda" amiibo figures are also set to be utilized in the forthcoming "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD." According to the publication, using an amiibo like the Sheik amiibo will help restore the player's hearts while a Link or Toon Link amiibo help refill arrows. Meanwhile, the Ganondorf amiibo boosts the damage done by the Link amiibo twice than usual.

It is assumed that "The Legend of Zelda" is going to be one of Nintendo's promising game titles this year, reaching its potential with "Twilight Princess HD," according to Techno Buffalo. As per the publication, Nintendo has been able to cope with the slow pace of the game, in addition to the "nagging" of "Skyward Sword's" tutorials to deliver the kind of game that would satisfy "The Legend of Zelda" fans and gamers.

Developed by Nintendo for the Wii U home video console, "The Legend of Zelda" is the working title of an upcoming action-adventure game and the nineteenth main installment in "The Legend of Zelda" series. Also, the game is the first original "Zelda" version developed with high-definition (HD) graphics and it will feature an open world in which gamers could find different ways to locate areas.   

Aside from "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" and "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U, other upcoming games include "Hyper Light Drifter" for PC, Xbox, PlayStation 4 and Vita, and Wii U (2016); "Pokkken Tournament" for Wii U (Mar. 8); "Shin Megami Tensei x Fire Emblem" for Wii U (2016); and "Star Fox Zero" for Wii U (Apr. 22), among others. 

"The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD" is set to be released on Mar. 4 while the exact release date for "The Legend of Zelda" for Wii U is yet to be revealed.
