Alleged '19 Kids and Counting' Revival by TLC to Focus on Jana Duggar's Family Duties and Possibly Love Life

"19 Kids and Counting" is allegedly being revived by the TLC. While the network has not confirmed the allegations, the storyline for the first episode is already at hand.

Hollywood Gossip reported that once "19 Kids and Counting" is revived, the public will be treated to a more in-depth look at Jana Duggar's love life. Jana is the oldest Duggar daughter and before "19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled, many were wondering what it feels to be her - single and staying at home with her parents. Many wondered too if she has ever fallen in love. Too bad the show was cancelled even before this issue was touched.

Moreover, TLC just finished airing the "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" special, a three-part series focusing on the married lives of Jill and Jessa Duggar. It seems to be the right time to focus on the oldest sister. Also, Hollywood Gossip reported that production sources have already revealed that for the first episodes, Jana will talk lengthily about what it feels to remain single while her younger sisters are starting their own families one after another.

The Duggar's family show has been so abruptly canceled after the scandals surrounding Josh Duggar that some fans are left hanging. As such, TLC finds it more appealing to bring back "19 Kids and Counting" instead of turning "Jill & Jessa: Counting On" to a full-fledged series. While TLC refused to comment on the show's possible return, there were already sightings of the Duggars filming with TLC camera crews on at least two different instances.

The report claimed that it seems logical for TLC to finally give some limelight to the oldest sister, considering how much she is going through for the family. Her younger sisters Jill and Jessa have both gone and started their families, and yet she is still at home and taking care of her younger siblings, acting like a second mother. With Jill and Jessa gone, a lot of the responsibilities fell back to her. The last thing that she can do these days is entertain boys who want to date her. It is interesting to know her thoughts on all these.

TLC's interest in Jana may be fueled by earlier speculations that she is forbidden by her parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to date, as reported by Radar Online. The parents are said to be worried that once Jana meet someone, she will also get married. If that happens, then the parents will lose the daughter they relied on the most.
