When it comes to delays for games, Tom Clancy's The Division has been rather infamous.  There is a set release date for it now, and more details are arriving daily.  Those that pre-order it are eligible for the beta, and there is also news about the DLC (Downloadable Content) that will be available after the game's initial release date. This is what is currently known about 'Tom Clancy's The Division' Release Date, Beta, DLC, Price, and Season Pass News.

According to Gotta Be Mobile, Tom Clancy's The Division Beta is already out on Microsoft's Xbox One, and it also is beginning to appear on Windows PCs as well as the PlayStation 4.  Ubisoft has also revealed more information in a recent blog post after the beta kicked off.

Games such as this are always dependent on expansion packs or DLC, and there will be three separate expansion packs that will arrive after its launch. These particular packs will include new gear, content, as well as "new types of gameplay that are designed to engage players after they've completed the main portion of The Division". There will be a Season Pass, which will include all of this content available at no extra charge.

The first expansion pack is known as "Underground".  This will allow the players to go underneath the streets of New York City in order to see how the epidemic (see below if you don't know) has affected the tunnels, caves, and all kinds of sewer networks there.  The second pack is known as "Survival", which is a "hostile environment that will challenge even the most hardcore Division players".  As for the third and final expansion pack, it is simply known as "Last Stand".  With a title like that, it sounds pretty serious, like this is how the game will end completely.  Considering that this game is very long-anticipated, it feels like it could easily get a sequel.

In addition to these expansion packs, Ubisoft promises that there will be some free updates to everyone this year, and these updates add even more challenges for those that play in the Dark Zone. For those that don't know, Tom Clancy's The Division takes place in New York three weeks after a lethal virus is released on Black Friday.  After society falls, the President activates The Division, a top-secret unit of self-supporting tactical agents.  Division agents are trained to operate independently of command, and players will delve into the world of fallen New York City, which has been overrun by clans willing to do anything to survive.

Expect Tom Clancy's The Division to have a release date of March 8th.  Right now, there is no word on how much the Season Pass will cost, but those that want the Collector's Edition and Gold Edition of the games will have access to the season pass content.  The Division Gold Edition costs $99 on the disc.
