Josh Duggar Update: Porn Star Danica Dillon Drops Lawsuit, Fans Think TLC Paid Her Off

Amid evidence that her claims were all just fabricated, Ashley Stamm-Northup or Danica Dillon in adult films dropped her lawsuit against Josh Duggar. The "19 Kids and Counting" star was let off the hook from a $500,000 lawsuit.

Fox News reported that Dillon's accusations were pure fiction because all her evidence did not check out. On her lawsuit, she said she met Duggar while employed at a Philadelphia strip club last spring. She said Duggar assaulted her during one of their paid sex sessions, particularly describing the assault as having taken place at a hotel. However, evidence revealed that Josh was not in Philadelphia at the time.

Fans of the reality show are unsure whether to rejoice, though. After all, it was not because of this lawsuit that got the family show "19 Kids and Counting" canceled. It was because Josh admitted to pornographic addiction and sexually molesting minors, who include his own sisters when he was 14.

Moreover, fans are currently speculating that TLC must have played a big role in the case's sudden cancellation. Christian Post is reporting that fans think it is highly possible that TLC wants the case gone because it is prepping a comeback show for the religiously inclined family.

Some fans believe that the network could have paid off Dillon so that she would not produce the incriminating evidence against Duggar. The court has demanded Dillon to provide evidence or documents that would prove her claims but the porn star was not able to do so. Without the evidence, the court would have no choice but to believe Duggar does not know her and all the accusations are lies.

She also recently posted a white car on her Twitter account, gushing at how beautiful it is. The picture made fans further speculated that she must have gotten a big amount from the network to back out from her case.

Inquisitr also reported that around the time she filed the lawsuit, the porn star was in dire need of cash. She was asking people on her social media account to purchase her used things. The site took this as evidence that she was having some financial troubles last year that TLC finally resolved this year to exchange with her dropping the case.

Rumors have it that TLC is already shooting for the new Duggar show. There were already two instances when camera people were seen shooting at the family residence.
